Wellcem recently achieved a remarkable success in a well integrity remedial operation in the South China Sea by utilizing our newly developed Light-Weight Intervention System (LWIS). The system is characterized by its simplicity and high efficiency. Unlike traditional methods, LWIS operates independently of large intervention vessels and is unaffected by unpredictable weather conditions eliminating unnecessary delays. Previously, jobs that required a minimum of 2 weeks using a large intervention vessel, were now accomplished within a mere 3, days without the need for a standby vessel. We are thrilled about the significant cost reduction LWIS system brings to well intervention jobs.
